Following a series of triumphant performances at last year’s Glastonbury and Isle of Wight Festival, Steve Harley and Cockney Rebel will be performing hits from their 40 year career including the no. 1 smash ‘Make Me Smile (Come Up and See Me)’ on Saturday 7th June at London’s indigO2.

Formed in 1972, Steve Harley and Cockney Rebel caused a sensation in 1973 with the "The Human Menagerie", a 40-piece orchestra and 30-piece choir augmenting the band on Steve's mega-hit, the mysterious "Sebastian" and the enigmatic "Death Trip." Many consider "The Quality Of Mercy" the best album Steve has ever made.

Steve has presented a popular BBC Radio 2 show ‘The Sound Of The Seventies’ since 1999 and the band continue to play up to 100 live shows per year and recently opened up for arguably the best rock’n’roll band in the world, The Rolling Stones at St Petersburg, Russia and Warsaw, Poland in July this year.

After 34 years of touring the world, Steve Harley still says, "Playing live is the biggest thrill there is. Every night is different. Every audience and every town have their own personality, and I am a relentless explorer".

Don’t miss the chance to catch the enigmatic Steve Harley alongside Cockney Rebel at their only London show of 2008.
