One of the most iconic soul singers in the world, Chaka Khan, will return to the UK, to showcase songs from the Grammy award winning album 'Funk This' plus classic tracks from her 35-year repertoire.

In July, Khan releases in the UK the critically acclaimed album 'Funk This', and the single 'Disrespectful' featuring Mary J Blige. 'Funk This' in some ways is a return to her musical roots with Rufus, a glorious collaboration with the super hit making team Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis. It's a tough 'n' earthy showcase for the gritty, in-your-face sound that first attracted Khan's solid and loyal fan base. 'Disrespectful' earned a Grammy Award for the category 'Best R&B Performance by a Duo' and for 'Best R&B Album'; making her a 10 time Grammy Winner.

Khan came to notoriety as the singer for Rufus, and five years later as a break out solo artist. Known for her catalogue of classic hits: 'Tell Me Something Good', 'Sweet Thing', 'Everlasting Love', 'Ain't Nobody', 'I'm Every Woman', and 'I Feel For You', Khan is a timeless artist, who is a renowned proponent of 'old school' soul music. Her energy, dynamism and passion for live performance over three decades, has brought her special brand of vocal magic to audiences across the world.
